A good site that warehouses and rates others sites about nutrition. There are 10 categories (ranging from gender based to age based, information for journalists and educators).

http://www.nutrition.org/
More of a scientific site (the site for the magazine). It’s the place where scientists publish papers surrounding the field of nutrition.

This is a practical site where you can analyze your diet. It’s also got an “energy calculator.”

This is more of a kids site, designed to get kids involved by playing “games,” all the while learning about nutrition.

This site has the same basic information and ideas, but it is a bit more practical because it offers recipes.

www.fitness.gov
President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports
Thought I’d grab the obvious. It’s got everything.

www.justmove.org
Practical and functional. Designed for getting people moving (obviously) but to get those whom are not active, active.

http://en.fitness.com/
Has tips on weight loss, exercise and nutrition.

http://dmoz.org/Health/Fitness/
A very elaborate collection of fitness links

www.global-fitness.com
This is a pretty cool site. It’s got “the usual” (ideas and tips about fitness and exercise), but it also includes specific “how-to” instruction, video instruction and healthy recipes.
