  • Planning and preparation of the project will be during class time in the Computer Lab October 17~October 20
  • Using your text book and online resources prepare a 6~8 slide powerpoint presentation on one of the following tissues or on the tissues comprising one of the following organs
    • Page 1 is a title page (put your name here!)
    • The final page is a list of resources in proper format
    • Include in the powerpoint
    • general description of the tissue or organ
    • general description of the function of the tissue or organ
    • detailed description of cells that make up the tissue
      • include detail on specialized cell parts and characteristic organelles, etc
    • detailed description of tissues that make up the organ
      • include detail on specialized cell parts, etc
  • Powerpoint is due Friday, October 20, by the end of class
    • save in Tissue folder within Anatomy folder on shared server
      • (network neighborhood, cambridge, system, vol 1, shared, anatomy
    • email to Mrs. Nuño at jdenuno@mhs-la.org as an attachment
  • Tissue Presentations will be in class October 23, 24, and 27
    • 75 points for the powerpoint
      • accuracy, completeness
      • effective use of graphics
      • quality of sources
    • 25 points for the presentation
      • demonstration of clear understanding of information in the powerpoint
      • poise
    • Organize your time well in the computer lab
    • Late projects are penalized 10 points per day late (including weekends!)
